Hector Lombard opens up about post-fight BKFC 18 brawl, beef with ‘clown’ Lorenzo Hunt

Hector Lombard more or less got two wins in one night at Bare Knuckle FC 18.

The combat sports veteran won the inaugural BKFC cruiserweight title, stopping fellow UFC veteran Joe Riggs by fourth-round on June 26. Soon after the championship victory, Lombard pieced up fellow BKFC competitor Lorenzo Hunt amidst his post-fight interview in the ring.

Hunt stepped in the BKFC ring and interrupted Lombard’s interview, trying to stir beef between the two, which Lombard didn’t take kindly. The 43-year-old responded with a two-punch combination that caused a quick scuffle in the ring.

“I’m sick, I had an (card) accident, I’m focused on Joe Riggs, I got so much going on,” Lombard told MMA Junkie Radio. “I have a fever, I have a headache, and all I see is this clown in my face. That’s just not right. This is my moment. I built that moment. I won my fight, and here he is coming from behind trying to steal my moment.

“F*ck you, man. He doesn’t know he’s f*cking with a real OG Cuban. He has no clue who he’s f*cking with. He has no clue, I can tell you that for a fact. He has three wins, five loses in MMA. You’re a bum trying to steal my moment. Whenever I see him, it’s on, but I’m not interested in fighting (professionally). He had a fight, and he was the main event. Nobody heard about that main event because he doesn’t put the numbers. He’s a bum.”

The confrontation with Lorenzo wasn’t a single incident that night at BKFC 18, but it actually has history. The former Bellator champion claims Lorenzo appeared at his gym in Miami and tried to spark trouble, trolling him and catching it on film.

“That guy is a f*cking clown. I hate that motherf*cker,” Lombard said. “First of all, he’s a nobody. He has like three wins, five losses and fighting in small organizations. And on top of that, he went one day to my gym.

“I was like, ‘What’s up with you, man?’ I fear no men, period. I can die today and be happy. I’ll be 10 times more happy dying today whether you cut me with a knife or shoot me than me feeling scared of any man. This clown came to my gym, and I slapped him a couple of times in the stomach. And I said, ‘B*tch, what the f*ck are you doing here? Don’t f*ck with me.’ And he goes, ‘No, we’re cool. We’re cool.’ He’s got a camera and I said, ‘What the f*ck are you going to do with that, you clown? B*tch, I have to tell you something. I fear no man, you clown.’

“He goes, ‘We’re cool, we’re cool,’ and he goes back (leaves) and starts saying on his Instagram that he came to the gym and he intimidated me, saying I was scared and this and that. And I’m like, ‘What? Everybody say you get slapped on the stomach by me and all you did was laugh and say, ‘We’re cool, we’re cool.’ He’s talking so much sh*t.”
