Dustin Poirier is releasing a new hot sauce in conjunction with UFC 264, and the tag line sounds eerily similar to his likely gameplan against Conor McGregor.
“Poirier’s Louisiana Style Hot Sauce K.O. Edition has the same Cajun flavor you know and love from his previous hot sauce, but with a heavier hit (thanks to a scoop of dried ghost pepper in each bottle),” a promotional message for the hot sauce reads. “Like those calf kicks, it builds slowly before knocking you on your ass.”
Poirier released the debut edition of his Louisiana Style Hot Sauce earlier this year but recently announced an updated version that promises to bring a bit more heat. A bottle of the new recipe was placed on stage at Thursday’s UFC 264 pre-fight press conference, but McGregor quickly decided he wasn’t interested in taking part in any more product placement and tossed it into the crowd.

In the meantime, Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) and McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) close out their trilogy series in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 264, which airs on pay-per-view from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
