INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Patricio Freire is very confident the judges won’t be involved in the outcome of Bellator 263’s main event when he faces A.J. McKee.
“Pitbull” believes he will not only win the finals of the featherweight grand prix and retain his Bellator title, but do it in style by submitting McKee in the second round.
When answering questions from media outside of The Forum on Thursday, Freire laid out his expectations for his upcoming main event fight over a series of straight-to-the-point responses.
Bellator’s champ-champ is planning on a second-round guillotine choke submission victory over McKee because, “He has a long neck.”
When asked what more would he need to prove if he defeats McKee, he simply replied, “I’m already the best.”
