After first-round knockout at Bellator 263, Gadzhi Rabadanov targets quick turnaround in Moscow
Gadzhi Rabadanov hopes to land on Bellator’s upcoming card in his home country of Russia.
Rabadanov (16-4-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) needed less than a round to brutally knock out Daniel Carey at Bellator 263 on Saturday and is eyeing a quick turnaround.
With the promotion making its Russian debut at VTB Arena in Moscow on Oct. 23, an unscathed Rabadanov wants a spot on that card.
“Maybe October in Moscow,” Rabadanov said at the post-fight news conference. “If Bellator calls me, I’m ready. I don’t know, maybe next week I’m ready. I’m here.”
He continued, “This is my first fight, it doesn’t matter. I want to smash everybody. It doesn’t matter. Featherweight guys, I’m here. I’m coming. I will be champion.”
