Bellator 264, which is set to go down this Friday night (Aug. 13, 2021) inside Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., has lost a couple of fights. According to the promotion, a Featherweight fight between Nekruz Mirkhojaev and James Adcock was pulled from the event due to health and safety protocols.

Furthermore, a Bantamweight fight between Danny Sabatello and Johnny Campbell was pulled after Sabatello tested positive for COVID-19 according to MMA Fighting. Winner of five straight, Sabatello was in search of his second straight win for the Viacom-owned company, while Campbell was also looking to make it two-for-two under the Bellator banner.

Both fights were expected to go down on the “Prelims.” As a result, the event will proceed with 10 bouts.

Bellator 264 will be headlined by a Middleweight title fight as division champion Gegard Mousasi defends his belt against No. 1 contender, John Salter. In further action, Andrey Koreshkov (23-4) will battle Sabah Homasi (15-9) in a Welterweight co-main event.
