Bob And Weave! Jake Paul Won’t Face Charges For 2020 Looting Spree

Jake Paul will not be facing charges over a 2020 looting spree in Arizona.

If Jake Paul can dodge Tyron Woodley’s punches the way he dodges federal charges, it should be an easy night at the office.

Paul vs. Woodley will headline a Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) boxing match at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in the YouTuber’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio on Sun., Aug. 29. He will enter the fight against the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight king with one less thing on his mind.

Authorities announced on Thursday that Paul will not be charged in connection with a looting spree in Scottsdale, Arizona last year. Paul, 24, was arrested for trespass and charged with a criminal misdemeanor after filming in a Scottsdale Fashion Square mall while it was being looted.

“Based upon the investigation and evidence available at this time, the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona is not pursuing federal charges against Jake Paul for his conduct,” the U.S. Attorney’s office in Arizona said in a statement published by Reuters.

The misdemeanor charges against Paul had already been dismissed.

Paul’s attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld told TMZ, “We are pleased that the U.S. Attorney reached the conclusion that no charges should be filed.”
