Hollywood blockbuster or MMA fight promo? Roberto Soldic, Patrik Kincl star in KSW 63 mindbender

Tired of the same old fight promo videos? Poland’s KSW continues to think outside of the box.

Ahead of next month’s KSW 63 event in Warsaw, promotion officials have released a trailer for the card that could just as easily have been filmed to preview a blockbuster cinematic thriller. In the video, KSW welterweight champ Roberto Soldic (18-3) plays a cold-blooded killer who has escaped from prison. With 15 knockouts in his 18 career victories, one can understand the casting.

Meanwhile, fellow KSW 63 headliner Patrik Kincl (24-9), a top prospect from the Czech Republic, is cast as the inspector tasked with taking down the dangerous criminal.

The script references Soldic’s “five blood-chilling executions on his credit,” a nod to the five knockout wins “Robocop” has picked up under the KSW banner.

In the end, the two come face-to-face, with Kincl asking, “You know I will defeat you, right?”

Soldic responds shortly after with a chilling reply.

“Trust me, I’m here to change your life,” he says.
