UFC Fight Night 191 poster: Darren Till gets primetime showdown with Derek Brunson

Darren Till may not be making the walk in front of his home nation’s fans, but he’ll get to compete in primetime.

Till (18-3-1 MMA, 6-3-1 UFC) meets Derek Brunson (22-7 MMA, 13-5 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 191 main event on Sept. 4, which was briefly linked to London before moving to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Despite the location change, the event will be primetime in the U.K. and Europe.

Currently enjoying a career resurgence, Brunson has won his past four in a row, most recently a lopsided decision win over Kevin Holland in the main event of UFC on ESPN 21 in March.

Meanwhile, Till will look to get back to the win column after splitting his first two appearances at 185 pounds. The Liverpool native is coming off a competitive unanimous decision loss to former champion Robert Whittaker in July 2020 and was scheduled to face Marvin Vettori in the UFC on ABC 2 main event in April before a broken collarbone forced him to pull out of the fight.
