Jones Looks Slow, Awkward At Heavyweight

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is expected to make his heavyweight debut at some point in 2022, just as soon as his new financial advisor is done crunching the numbers with penny-pinching promotion president Dana White.

Until then, “Bones” will have plenty of time to practice performing at the heavier weight, and I can say with absolute certainty that his kicks looks strong and powerful. Fortunately, anyone on the receiving end will have eight minutes to get out of the way.

“Bones” recently uploaded a short video of his training to mixed reviews. Some fans on social media were shocked at how slow Jones looked at heavyweight, while others insisted the clip was not long enough to offer an opinion in either direction.

There is the possibility that Jones was at the end of his workout and already tired, but why not upload the beginning of the workout instead? When he’s fast and fresh? Only “Bones” knows that answer, though I wouldn’t rule out the long con.

That said, I don’t think Ciryl Gane and Francis Ngannou are shaking in their boots.
