“They’re still counting.”

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley banked $2 million for his split-decision loss to social media star Jake Paul, which took place last Sunday night (Aug. 29) inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

But that number is expected to go even higher after “The Chosen One” collects his pay-per-view (PPV) points. As of this writing, the event is fast approaching the mark set by Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather earlier this year.

And could end as the fifth biggest PPV in history.

“The pay-per-view is doing some shit right now, I promise you,” Woodley said on Instagram Live (transcribed by MMA Fighting). “I told you. You motherfuckers laughed at me. Go back to my Instagram, I said this will be the biggest pay-per-view of the year. I said that. (Expletive) laughed at me. They fucking put clown emojis, ‘Haha, what about this? It’s gonna be bigger than that, bwahaha!’ Fucking joke’s on you. I don’t know where it’s at right now but they’re still counting. That’s shit’s still running up. So I want to thank everybody for buying it, I want to thank everybody for giving a fuck, I want to thank the promotion for putting the fight together. I’m excited because part two is gonna be crazier.”

Woodley has been calling for a rematch after losing to Paul in “Forest City” and would need to get a “Problem Child” tattoo to move forward. That said, it seems Paul is done throwing hands with former UFC headliners after calling out Tim Tebow.

“I kept saying, this is a real fight. It’s not the Tik Tok vs. the fucking coin-flipper,” Woodley continued. “This is two real motherfuckers who both punch hard, both got a chin, a lot of bullshit talk, so guess what, we’re gonna run it back and when we do, we’re going for the record the next time. We are right now right underneath Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul for pay-per-view and still counting. If we go over that number, it’s going to be the fifth-highest pay-per-view in the history of pay-per-view. And we sold out the arena, for all those people that said ‘You not as raw! You don’t know how to move the needle!’”

Expect an official announcement on the Paul-Woodley PPV buys at some point next week.
