Tom Aspinall climbed another rung on the UFC’s heavyweight ladder earlier today (Sat., Sept. 4, 2021) at UFC Vegas 36 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the surging contender stopped Sergey Spivak via first-round TKO (elbow and punches).

Spivak was filling in on short notice, but he had absolutely nothing for Aspinall. The English contender controlled the range, scored some great combinations, and landed a beautiful elbow off the clinch just over two minutes into the fight. Spivak fell to the canvas and Aspinall jumped on top for a few insurance shots and the finish.

This was yet another big performance by Aspinall as the heavyweight contender now pushes his UFC record to 4-0. Aspinall continues to improve each and every time he steps inside of the cage and looks to be a legit top 10 contender heading into 2022.
