‘Hapa’ Defends UFC Pay, Blasts ‘Whiny B*tches’

Former UFC heavyweight contender Travis Browne, who at one point was ranked as high as No. 3 at 265 pounds, is fed up with all the “whiny little bitches” who constantly complain about the state of UFC fighter pay, like Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou.

And “Hapa” is even more fed up with the whiny little bitches (like me) who write about it.

Browne, alongside manager John Fosco, had an opportunity to interview UFC President Dana White on the Tough Business podcast, focusing on the business side of combat sports and how White and Co. managed to find success before, during, and after COVID.

“You guys always paid me what you said you were gonna pay me, and most of the time it was actually more,” Browne said. “So all these people who are complaining about it, talking shit about it, at the end of the day I’m the one who signed that fucking contract. And then I’m gonna turn around and bitch about it? Or I’m gonna bitch about it to a fucking reporter? That doesn’t make sense to me as a man. I signed the contract. If I wanted to get paid more — and you guys have always been up front about it, ‘hey when you’re a free agent, go find a better deal.’”

Browne, 39, retired from active competition after losing four straight fights and five of his last six, four of which ended by way of knockout or submission. “Hapa” would later marry former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and settle down on “Browsey Acres Farm” in Oregon.

“You guys have always treated me right,” Browne continued. “The pay has been there, and again, it’s always been at least what the contract was, and most of the time it was more. So these people that are complaining, people in the media that don’t fucking hear that they hear the little bitch that’s crying and complaining. Because you get these, like, entitled people. Or I don’t know where the fuck it comes from. It’s like, they’re just whiny little bitches, and then they go to more whiny little bitches that’ll write about it.”
