Song Yadong vs. Julio Arce added to Nov. 13 UFC Fight Night event

An exciting bantamweight matchup is headed to UFC Fight Night on Nov. 13.

Song Yadong (17-5-1 MMA, 6-1-1 UFC) will take on Julio Arce (17-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC) in an event which is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. MMA DNA was the first to report the booking.

After enduring his first octagon setback to Kyler Phillips at UFC 259, Yadong rebounded with a split decision win over Casey Kenney at UFC 265 in August. The 23-year-old Team Alpha Male fighter will look to climb his way back to the UFC’s bantamweight rankings when he meets fellow striker Arce.

Arce has split his past four appearances. The Contender Series alum moved back down to bantamweight in his return from a 20-month layoff to score a second-round TKO of Andre Ewell at UFC on ESPN 27 in July.
