UFC 266 weigh-in results: Dan Hooker, Nasrat Haqparast made weight, so everyone else had to, as well

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 266 weigh-ins, where all 26 fighters made weight without issue.

The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and precede the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 7 p.m. ET at Park Theater in Las Vegas. The nearby T-Mobile Arena hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPNews and early prelims on ESPN+.

Among those weighing in were featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (22-1 MMA, 9-0 UFC) and challenger Brian Ortega (15-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), who meet in the main event; women’s flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko (21-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) and challenger Lauren Murphy (15-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC), who fight in the co-feature; and Nick Diaz (26-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC), who returns after a layoff of nearly seven years for a rematch with former welterweight champ Robbie Lawler (28-15 MMA, 13-9 UFC).

But perhaps most impressively, Dan Hooker (20-10 MMA, 10-6 UFC) and Nasrat Haqparast (13-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC), who each arrived in Las Vegas Thursday from international destinations, both delayed due to visa issues, were among the first fighters to hit the scale. Both hit their marks for the lightweight matchup.
