Woodley Slams Dan ‘The Uber Driver’ Hardy

Ex-UFC welterweight title contender Dan Hardy shredded former 170-pound champion Tyron Woodley after “The Chosen One” turned in a “sack of shit” performance against Jake Paul during their celebrity boxing match last August in Cleveland.

Since that scathing critique failed to rattle Woodley, “The Outlaw” got back on social media to lance “The Chosen One” for his “embarrassing” tattoo, inked to honor a pre-fight deal he made with “The Problem Child” ahead of their “Forest City” showdown.

Here’s a truncated version of their Twitter exchange:

Hardy: “Anyone who has a tattoo knows that’s not a tattoo. What a dork… It looks like a tattoo your friend did when you were both drunk. An embarrassing tattoo is one thing, but a bad embarrassing tattoo is a whole other.”

Woodley: “Your UFC career is embarrassing. Your claim to fame is you got stomped by GSP and didn’t die. Everything was by design. I’ll keep setting trends while you tweet.”

Hardy: “You’re trending because you’ve got Jake Paul tattooed on your finger. Well done. Congratulations on your championship success. I remember the crowds booing in appreciation as you wore your heel out against the fence, backing up and avoiding the fight.”

Woodley: “Belt and titles. Things you dreamed of. They cheered as you were carried out on a stretcher. Champs now were in diapers last time you fought. Keep living your dream on the bag in your garage. From Outlaw to Uber Black driver.”

Hardy: “We’re the same age, you fool. It’s just that I was competing in the UFC a bit earlier, during the reign of the greatest welterweight champion of all time. You came after.”

I’m giving that exchange to Woodley, 10-9, based on his late rally.

Hardy, 39, has not competed in nearly a decade after being diagnosed with heart issues. “The Outlaw” was later cleared for competition but spent most of his time behind the desk working for UFC as one of their lead analysts.

A gig that recently ended after this controversy.

Woodley, also 39, parted ways with UFC after losing four straight fights, performances that were widely panned for “The Chosen One’s” lack of offense, defense, and everything in between. Whether or not a Paul rematch materializes has yet to be determined.

If not, Hardy did an admirable job of talking up some heat with another UFC veteran. “The Outlaw” has been trying to score a return fight for several years but none of his previous callouts came to fruition.

Perhaps it’s time for Hardy vs. Woodley on the next Showtime boxing undercard?
