Video: The reasons why Henry Cejudo does and doesn’t make sense for Alexander Volkanovski

This past weekend’s UFC 266 saw Alexander Volkanovski earn a hard-fought win over a very game Brian Ortega, and it seems like Volkanovski is finally getting a little respect as UFC champion.

Afterward, Volkanovski pointed to the upcoming Max Holloway-Yair Rodriguez fight as a potential No. 1 contender matchup, but then there were also social media challenges from Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor.

Cejudo, the retired former flyweight and bantamweight champ-champ, went so far as to say Volkanovski is “the only fight that really matters,” and there’s no doubt it’s a tantalizing matchup. There are reasons why it does and doesn’t make sense, but what would be the most intriguing next booking for the champ? Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Mike Bohn, Nolan King and Brian “Goze” Garcia weighed in on that question with host John Morgan.
