White: UFC Pay Is ‘None Of Your Business’

UFC President Dana White has been hit with lawsuits over poor fighter pay, trashed by rival promoters for the organization’s revenue split, and lambasted by the combat sports media for keeping fighters so broke they need Jake Paul to bail them out.

White’s response? “It’s not my fucking problem.”

The Las Vegas fight boss dug his heels in even further during the most recent “Contender Series” press conference last Tuesday in “Sin City,” biting back at nosy reporters who asked for transparency regarding the promotion’s payout models.

“It’s none of your business,” White told MMA Junkie. “It’s none of your business how much it is. That’s it. I mean, that’s what people are always asking about. You know, ‘What about this? What about that?’ Listen, if you don’t like how we run our business, go start your own.”

White was recently called on the carpet by former boxing champion and “Golden Boy” promoter Oscar De La Hoya, who previously tried to start his own MMA Fight Club with half-baked dreams of zillion-dollar paydays.

Not surprisingly, it was a complete flop.

“You don’t like the way we pay our fighters?” White asked. “Too fucking bad. Go start another MMA organization and you go fucking figure out how to do it, and you can pay them $10 million a fight, $30 million a fight – whatever you want to do. We run a business. We’ve been very good at it. Not only do we run the business, we continue to grow the sport and take everybody along with us.”

Well, almost everybody.
