UFC Vegas 39: Mackenzie Dern vs. Marina Rodriguez loses a fight due to COVID-19.

Laureano Staropoli vs. Jamie Pickett is off UFC Vegas 39, a card headlined by Mackenzie Dern vs. Marina Rodriguez.

UFC Vegas 39 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sat., Oct. 9 via ESPN+. The Fight Night card is down to 10 fights after one of Pickett’s coaches tested positive for COVID-19. The bout cancellation was initially reported by AgFight and subsequently confirmed by MMA Junkie.

Pickett (11-6) vs. Staropoli (9-4) will be rescheduled for the UFC Fight Night event on Oct. 23.
