Chimaev Battles Hermansson On Nov. 19

UFC middleweights and local celebrities Khamzat Chimaev and Jack Hermansson were recently booked for a freestyle wrestling match at the upcoming Bulldog Fight Night 9 event on Nov. 13 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The bout will be contested at 85 kg (187 lbs) with two, three-minute rounds, according to Front Kick. Fans hoping to stream the live event, which also features Anthony Yigit vs. Sanny Dahlbeck, among others, can do so by clicking here.

Hopefully Chimaev, 27, doesn’t sustain any injuries in his upcoming UFC 267 fight against welterweight bruiser Li Jingliang, to be contested roughly two weeks before his “Joker” showdown on Oct. 30 on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi.

The 33 year-old Hermansson, meanwhile, is coming off his Edmen Shahbazyan win last May and does not yet have a date or opponent for his Octagon return. The Swede is currently ranked No. 6 at 185 pounds.

Expect more additions to the Bulldog Fight Night 9 card in the coming weeks.
