Dana White’s Contender Series 5 held its seventh event of the season on Tuesday at UFC Apex in Las Vegas where three fighters fought their way into UFC contracts.
In the featured bout on the fight card, Christian Rodriguez missed weight on Monday for his scheduled bantamweight bout against Reyes Cortez. Rodriguez won a clear-cut unanimous decision but was not awarded a UFC contract.
The three fighters awarded contracts: Martin Buday, Jake Hadley, and Viacheslav Borshchev, all finished their opponents.
