PHOENIX – Sumiko Inaba is ready to add more steam to her status as a women’s flyweight prospect with another win at Bellator 268.
After putting together back-to-back wins to start her career, Hawaii’s Inaba (2-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) aims to keep the streak going on Saturday when she meets Randi Field (2-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) on the preliminary card of the event, which takes place at Footprint Center.
The 30-year-old is content with the slow and steady approach as she gains experience, and thinks Field will be a good test to see how much she’s grown since her previous fight in May.
“It’s a great challenge for me,” Inaba told MMA Junkie. “We’re both 2-0. She’s going to come in with some great skillsets I haven’t seen from other opponents. I’m excited. It’s going to be fireworks.”
