Video: Thoughts on Mike Winkeljohn’s decision on Jon Jones after latest arrest

In the wake of former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ arrest for alleged domestic violence, his longtime coach, Mike Winkeljohn, announced a tough decision.

Jones apparently will be training for his heavyweight debut outside of Jackson Wink MMA after Winkeljohn banned him from the gym until he shows that his personal life is in order. Until then, Jones isn’t welcomed inside Jackson Wink, which he’s called his home gym since 2009.

In response, Jones, who denied striking his fiancee despite disturbing details in the police report and 911 audio, said it “really hurts to lose the support of someone (he respects) so much.”

And so, did Winkeljohn make the right call, or could this somehow put Jones in a worse situation? Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Nolan King, Danny Segura and George Garcia answered that question with host John Morgan.
