Kevin Holland injured, out of Kyle Dauakus rematch at UFC Fight Night 197

Kevin Holland and Kyle Daukaus might rematch at some point, but it won’t be at UFC Fight Night 197.

Due to an undisclosed injury, Holland (21-8 MMA, 8-5 UFC) has been forced to withdraw from his Nov. 13 bout against Daukaus (10-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Two people with knowledge of the withdrawal confirmed the change to MMA Junkie on Wednesday but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

The expectation is that Daukaus will remain on the card against a new opponent.

The two middleweights fought at UFC Fight Night 193 on Oct. 2, but the bout ended in a no contest after an accidental clash of heads reversed the decision on video review.

With the change, the UFC Fight Night 193 lineup includes:

  • Max Holloway vs. Yair Rodriguez
  • Jessica Eye vs. Andrea Lee
  • Marcos Rogerio de Lima vs. Ben Rothwell
  • Philipe Lins vs. Ovince Saint Preux
  • Tucker Lutz vs. Lando Vannata
  • Leah Letson vs. Felicia Spencer
  • Collin Anglin vs. Sean Woodson
  • Jailton Almeida vs. Danilo Marques
  • Julio Arce vs. Song Yadong
  • Joel Alvarez vs. Thiago Moises
  • Kyle Daukaus vs. TBA
  • Miguel Baeza vs. Khaos Williams
  • Kennedy Nzechukwu vs. Da Un Jung
