UFC 267 pre-event facts: Two historic title fights for different reasons

The UFC returns to “Fight Island” on Saturday with UFC 267, which goes down at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The entire card streams on ESPN+.

A championship doubleheader tops the card. In the main event, Jan Blachowicz (28-8 MMA, 11-5 UFC) will attempt to make his second consecutive light heavyweight title defense when he takes on Glover Teixeira (32-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC).

The co-headliner, meanwhile, will crown an interim bantamweight titleholder. With champ Aljamain Sterling sidelines with injury, Petr Yan (15-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) will look to get a piece of gold back around his waist when he takes on Cory Sandhagen (14-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC).
