Pearl Gonzalez vs. Britain Hart booked for BKFC 22 in Miami

Two of the most popular women in bareknuckle fighting are set to collide at BKFC 22.

Former UFC and Invicta fighter Pearl Gonzalez will meet Britain Hart in a five-round bout at the Nov. 12 event at James L. Knight Center in Miami, the promotion announced Saturday. The event will stream on BKTV and FITE via pay-per-view.

Gonzalez, 35, went 10-5 as a professional mixed martial artist before her transition to bareknuckle boxing in early 2021. She competed in the UFC and Invicta among other promotions before she signed with BKFC in April. In her bareknuckle boxing debut, Gonzalez defeated Charisa Sigala by unanimous decision at BKFC 18 in June.

Hart, the newlywed wife of former UFC heavyweight and current BKFC champion Joey Beltran, has built her name in BKFC on her brawling style and captivating interviews. So far, Hart is 3-0 in BKFC. Her most high-profile victory to date came at BKFC Knuckle Mania in February when she defeated former UFC fighter Paige VanZant by unanimous decision.

With the addition, the BKFC 22 lineup includes:

  • Champ Hector Lombard vs. Lorenzo Hunt – for cruiserweight title
  • Champ Luis Palomino vs. Dat Nguyen – for lightweight title
  • Pearl Gonzalez vs. Britain Hart
  • Rusty Crowder vs. Howard Davis
  • Marcus Brimage vs. Will Shutt
  • Anthony Prater vs. Tyler Randall
