Former UFC Champion Junior Dos Santos signs with boxing management company

Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos has his eyes set on boxing and inked a deal with a boxing management company. Boxing management company S-JAM made the announcement on Tuesday.

Dos Santos was released by the UFC following his UFC 256 TKO loss to Cyril Gane. It was the former champion’s fourth TKO loss in a row. His last MMA victory came in March 2019.

With his MMA career seemingly in the rearview mirror, dos Santos has big ambitions in boxing. “Cigano” believes he’ll face the likes of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, or Tyson Fury one day, and ‘beat them up.’

“Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury – I really believe at some point it’s going to happen. I’m going to have a big fight against one of these guys and I’ll beat them up,” dos Santos said in a second video posted by the management company.

Dos Santos also posted the announcement and videos on his social media accounts. In a post displaying the graphic ‘Dos Santos Has Arrived,’ the Brazilian wrote, “If I say letโ€™s box Iโ€™m not kidding.”
