Conor McGregor updates on injury recovery, likelihood of Diaz trilogy, Kamaru Usman’s ‘many holes’

Conor McGregor was back on Twitter communicating with his followers and answering questions on Saturday.

McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC), a former two-division UFC champion, hasn’t fought since UFC 264 in July when he suffered a first-round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in their anticipated trilogy fight. The contest ended when McGregor broke his leg and was unable to continue beyond the first round, and he’s been out of action since.

Although he’s been out of sight when it comes to stepping in the octagon, McGregor has hardly been out of mind. For better or worse, he’s constantly found a way to keep himself in the headlines, as the Irishman is so masterful at doing.

McGregor touched on a number of topics during his Twitter Q&A, including his recovery from injury and when he expects to be back in the octagon, the possibility of a trilogy fight with Nate Diaz in his future, Kamaru Usman’s title defense over Colby Covington at UFC 268 earlier this month and more.

Check out the highlights.
