Kyoji Horiguchi will look to reclaim the Bellator title he never lost.
Horiguchi, who was forced to vacate two promotional titles after undergoing knee surgery, regained his Rizin FF title in December 2020. He will return to action for a shot back at his Bellator belt when he meets newly crowned champion Sergio Pettis in the main event of Bellator 272 on Friday.
Pettis captured the 135-pound title with a unanimous decision win over Juan Archuleta at Bellator 258 in May and is 3-0 since departing from the UFC.
