UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is gearing up for his highly anticipated rematch with Robert Whittaker.
Adesanya (21-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) will run things back with Whittaker (23-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC) in the UFC 271 main event, which takes place Feb. 12 at Toyota Center in Houston.
Adesanya unified the belts with then-undisputed champ Whittaker by knocking him out at UFC 243 in one of his best career performances. But since losing his title to “The Stylebender,” Whittaker has eliminated Darren Till, Jared Cannonier and Kelvin Gastelum from the title race, setting up the rematch with Adesanya.
In Episode 1 of his training camp vlog series, Adesanya surprises fans with signed gear at their doorstep and goes through some distance and movement drills in preparation for the fight.
