Two Against One? No Issue For ‘The Spider’

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Anderson Silva was forced to retire from mixed martial arts (MMA) in the wake of three straight losses, two of which ended by way of technical knockout. But “The Spider” has secured a new lease on his combat sports life in the world of boxing, upsetting Mexican pugilist Julio César Chávez Jr. last June before putting down fellow UFC veteran Tito Ortiz the following September.

Despite his advancing age, the 46 year-old Brazilian looked silky smooth in a two-against-one training session with his sons. This video reminds me of the days I used to destroy my kid at Mario Kart because I was older and far more experienced. No doubt my day of reckoning is soon at hand, as it will be for Silva once his sons Kalyl and Gabriel — up-and-coming fighters in their own right — get a few more years under their respective belts.
