UFC 271 took place Saturday at Toyota Center in Houston, and the card featured a number of noteworthy results

Chief among them was Israel Adesanya’s (22-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) triumph in the main event. He defended his UFC middleweight title for a fourth consecutive time in a unanimous decision victory over rival Robert Whittaker (23-6 MMA, 14-4 UFC), who he beat to initially capture gold back in October 2019.
