In 2018 former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington survived a five-round battle at UFC 225 with former lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos to secure the interim welterweight title via unanimous decision. Covington faces Jorge Masvidal next in the Octagon at UFC 272 on Saturday, March 5.
