UFC Fight Night 202 weigh-in results: One fighter fined 40 percent, but full card set

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 202 fighter weigh-ins, where all but one fighter made weight without issue.

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.

Among those weighing in were Islam Makhachev (21-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) and short-notice opponent Bobby Green (29-12-1 MMA, 10-7-1 UFC), who meet in the main event at a 160-pound catchweight. In addition, Misha Cirkunov (15-7 MMA, 6-5 UFC) meets Wellington Turman (17-5 MMA, 2-3 UFC) at middleweight. All four made weight without issue.

The lone miss on the day was Rong Zhu (18-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC), who weighed in at 160 pounds for his lightweight matchup with Ignacio Bahamondes (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC). Zhu was fined 40 percent of his purse for the four-pound miss, but the bout will go on as scheduled.
