Adam Borics planning to thrive under pressure of top contender fight at Bellator 276

ST. LOUIS – Adam Borics is in a No. 1 featherweight contenders fight Saturday, but even if he wasn’t, it’d still be the biggest fight of his career.

Borics (17-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) said he thrives under the pressure of things like his first Bellator main event – a five-rounder – and the likelihood if he beats Mads Burnell (16-3 MMA, 3-0 BMMA), he’ll be next in line for a featherweight title shot.

Borics spoke to MMA Junkie and other media members at Thursday’s Bellator 276 media day in St. Louis. Borics talked about his time off, his headliner against Burnell, the title stakes and more.

Check out the portions of Borics’ interview in the video above.

Bellator 276 takes place Saturday at Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo. The main card airs on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie.
