It’s not often that a fighter is on an eight-fight winning streak, ranked in the top five and being discussed in a negative light. And yet, that’s where we’re at with Magomed Ankalaev coming out of UFC Fight Night 203.
On Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Ankalaev defeated former light heavyweight title challenger Thiago Santos by unanimous decision. Overall, it was a lackluster fight, but it was still a key win in the division.
