USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie rankings, March 22: Tom Aspinall makes major move

Following UFC Fight Night 204, a number of victorious fighters impacted this week’s rankings update.

London’s main event winner, Tom Aspinall, looked incredible as he took care of business against Alexander Volkov in the first round. Entering the fight at No. 14 among heavyweights, Aspinall jumps all the way up to the No. 7 spot after a dominant performance.

On the prelims, the undefeated Jack Shore remained unblemished after picking up a unanimous decision win over Timur Valiev. After his fifth UFC victory, the Wales representative broke through from the honorable mentions into the No. 14 spot in the bantamweight division.

The home country talent was on full display Saturday, as Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann left lasting impressions with their performances. After a first round submission from Pimblett and a knockout of the year contender finish from Molly McCann, both have entered the honorable mentions.

Take a look at the full rankings below, ahead of Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 33 in Columbus, Ohio.
