Video: Is the Demetrious Johnson-Rodtang Jitmuangnon ONE X hybrid fight pure madness?

Things are about to get wacky at ONE Championship.

Former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will take on ONE flyweight muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon on Saturday at ONE X. It won’t be an MMA fight. It won’t be a muay Thai fight. It will be both.

In a hybrid fight, Johnson and Jitmuangnon will take part in a bout that alters MMA rules and muay Thai rules every round. ONE’s Rich Franklin thinks the special ruleset is akin to how MMA started in the first place.
