Volkanovski’s sportsmanship

Most of you know that at the beginning of R4, Volk asked TKZ if he’s sure he wants to continue.

I just rewatched the fight and noticed two more little details, that speaks volumes of Volk’s sportsmanship.

1) After the finishing sequence, right before Herb stepped in, Volk was about to say something to TKZ again. Just watch his face expression right before Herb grabbed Volk from behind. You can see it clearly from the slow-mo replays. He clearly didn’t want to punch TKZ’s face in anymore.

2) After the fight, Volk waits for TKZ to step out the octagon first. When Volk notices TKZ and his wife hugging and crying, he respectfully looks away, shakes his head and mumbles something (I guess “damn”). Then they switch the camera to the couple. That felt super genuine from him.

TLDR: Volk’s the man.
