Bellator 277 preview with Josh Thomson: Will A.J. McKee keep rolling? Or will Patricio Freire even things up?

SAN JOSE, Calif. – It’s the eve of Bellator 277, one of the biggest events of the year for the promotion.

Atop the card are two title fights, including a featherweight rematch between champion A.J. McKee (18-0 MMA, 18-0 BMMA) and challenger Patricio Freire (32-5 MMA, 20-5 BMMA).

The co-main event doubles as both the light heavyweight grand prix final and a championship bout, with title holder Vadim Nemkov (14-2 MMA, 7-0 BMMA) defending against Corey Anderson (16-5 MMA, 3-0 BMMA).

The event takes place at SAP Center with the main card airing on Showtime after prelims on MMA Junkie.

Prior to Thursday’s ceremonial faceoffs, Bellator analyst and former Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson joined MMA Junkie staff reporter Nolan King for a preview of the title bouts among other topics, which can be seen in the video above.
