Tim Johnson ready to get taste of Fedor loss out of his mouth at Bellator 277

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Tim Johnson has regrets from his most recent fight against the legendary Fedor Emelianenko.

But he’s taking lessons from his knockout loss to Fedor in Russia this past October, and now he’s ready to get that bad taste out of his mouth and get back to winning fights.

Johnson (15-8 MMA, 3-4 BMMA) takes on former heavyweight title challenger Linton Vassell (22-8 MMA, 10-5 BMMA) on the Bellator 277 main card Friday at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. The main card airs on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie.

With back-to-back losses to Emelianenko and Valentin Moldavsky in an interim heavyweight title fight, Johnson said he’s made some adjustments to be ready for Vassell.
