UFC 274 video: Rose Namajunas, Carla Esparza have final faceoff for rematch

PHOENIX – Will it be revenge or repeat in the UFC 274 co-main event? Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza intends to provide answers when they run it back for strawweight gold.

Namajunas (11-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC) will attempt to get redemption for a December 2014 loss to Esparza (18-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC) when she puts her in an anticipated rematch.

Before that can happen, though, the fighters had to make weight on Friday morning (which they did) then engage in a final staredown at UFC 274 ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday afternoon.

All of those activities are in the books, and although Namajunas and Esparza didn’t show much emotion as they came face-to-face for the final time, it’s clear both women know the stakes at hand.

UFC 274 takes place Saturday at Footprint Center. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
