Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza literally put Israel Adesanya to sleep LOL

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya completely dozed off during the lackluster rematch between Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza.

Namajunas (11-5 MMA, 9-4 UFC) lost her strawweight title to Esparza (19-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) in Saturday’s UFC 274 co-main event at Footprint Center in Phoenix, in what was an uneventful five rounds of limited “action.”

Adesanya posted his traditional watch-along video on his YouTube channel and went from freaking out about Michael Chandler’s front-kick knockout of Tony Ferguson to taking a power nap during Namajunas vs. Esparza.

Adesanya’s title defense against Yoel Romero at UFC 248 received plenty of criticism for being a snoozefest, and Adesanya’s brother jokingly told him that Namajunas vs. Esparza 2 may have surpassed it for most boring title fight.
