‘Realistic’ Josh Culibao predicts Fight of the Night with Seungwoo Choi at UFC 275

SINGAPORE – Josh Culibao is preparing himself for a classic at UFC 275.

Culibao (9-1-1 MMA, 1-1-1 UFC) meets Seungwoo Choi (10-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) in a featherweight bout on the preliminary portion of the Saturday’s card at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and ESPN+.

When examining the matchup, Culibao said he knows the likely outcome. He expects his hand to be raised when the fight is over, but not before a brutal battle that will heed a Fight of the Night bonus.

“I’m just being realistic, to be honest,” Culibao told MMA Junkie and other reporters at UFC 275 media day. “I don’t feel like Choi’s going to go away easy, and if he does it’s going to be a banger of a fight. I’ve said in previous interviews that both me and him are going to leave that cage pretty banged up and bruised, and I’m expecting that sort of fight. If it doesn’t happen and I end up getting a clean knockout or a clean finish without getting hurt, then beautiful. But, that is what I am expecting.”
