Ricardo Ramos hurt himself landing the spinning back elbow knockout at UFC Austin

AUSTIN, Texas – There have been only five spinning back elbow knockouts in UFC history. Ricardo Ramos has two of them.

Ramos (16-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) obliterated Danny Chavez (11-5-1 MMA, 1-2-1 UFC) with a brutal elbow quickly into the first round of their fight at UFC on ESPN 37 in Austin, Texas. His first spinning back elbow win came in late 2017 at UFC 217.

But the bonus-winning knockout didn’t come without a cost. Ramos arrived at the post-fight news conference with his elbow on ice.
