International Fight Week is upon us and that means some major fights are just days away.

UFC 276 is topped by two title fights in the middleweight and featherweight divisions. In the main event, Israel Adesanya will defend his middleweight crown against a new challenger in Jared Cannonier, while Alexander Volkanovski puts his title on the line in a trilogy bout against Max Holloway in the co-feature.

Holloway and Volkanovski are very familiar with each other at this point. Their first fight at UFC 245 was a unanimous decision in Volkanovski’s favor, while the rematch at UFC 251 was a split decision that many feel Holloway should have won.

Adesanya, on the other hand, has a fresh challenge on his hands. Cannonier has won two straight to earn a crack at the title. Adesanya has also won two straight, but his loss came in the light heavyweight division in a bid for champ-champ status. At middleweight, Adesanya is undefeated and a pretty dominant champion.

What is the most likely scenario between these two title bouts: “And new” twice, “And still” twice, or one of each?

Our panel of Brian “Goze” Garcia, Danny Segura, and Simon Samano discuss this topic with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia in the video above.

“Spinning Back Clique” is released each Tuesday on MMA Junkie’s YouTube channel. You can watch the full episode in the video below.
