Invicta FC 48 on July 20 undergoes multiple changes, including new co-headliner

Invicta FC 48 has undergone some tweaks.

With co-headliner Katharina Lehner forced out of the co-main event against UFC veteran Talita Bernado 7-4) on this month’s card, the former title challenger has been replaced by Yana Gadelha (7-4).

The promotion announced the changes on Friday, though the reason for Lehner’s withdrawal was not revealed.

Invicta FC 48 takes place July 20 at ReelWorks Denver in Colorado. The card streams on the Invicta FC YouTube channel and also airs on AXS TV.

The fight card, which will use open scoring under the guidance of the Colorado Combative Sports Commission is headlined by a women’s bantamweight championship clash between reigning titleholder Taniesha Tennant (4-1) and former Bellator title challenger Olga Rubin (7-2).

  • Champ Taneisha Tennant vs. Olga Rubin – for bantamweight title
  • Talita Bernardo vs. Yana Gadelha
  • Kyra Batara vs. Valesca Machado
  • Liana Pirosin vs. Kristina Williams
