Nate Diaz: ‘Khabib Nurmagomedov is ‘a little b**ch’

Former lightweight title challenger and winner of the fifth season of The Ultimate Fighter Nate Diaz doesn’t have a high opinion of Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s legacy.

Nurmagomedov held the 155-pound title from April 2018 until his retirement following his third title defense in October 2020. He retired undefeated (29-0) and was inducted in the UFC Hall of Fame earlier this year.

According to Diaz, UFC matchmakers tried to book a fight between the two early in Nurmagomedov’s UFC career. During an interview with The MMA Hour on Tuesday, Diaz blasted Nurmagomedov and downplayed the Russian’s accomplishments.

“Khabib’s a f**king little b**ch too,” Diaz said. “Who did he beat for the title? He got Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje. They’ve both been finished off over and over the same way that he beat them. You ain’t no good.

“You were a scared fighter, scared of fighting the whole time, and now you’re in the Hall of Fame,” Diaz said. “I was here before the Hall of Fame even showed up actually. Now you’re a Hall of Famer. Whatever. I don’t even want nothing to do with the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is a joke too.”
