Video: Which fighter belongs in UFC Hall of Fame? Khabib, other notables make their picks

With the recent inductions of Daniel Cormier and Khabib Nurmagomedov, there are now 26 fighters in the UFC Hall of Fame, which has been around since 2003 but was split into four categories (or wings) in 2015.

Cormier and Nurmagomedov were inducted into the Modern wing, which celebrates fighters who made their professional debuts after the unified rules of mixed martial arts were established in 2000. There is also a Pioneers wing, a Fight wing celebrating the greatest matchups, and a Contributors wing recognizing individuals who contributed to the sport outside of fighting.

What it takes to get into the UFC Hall of Fame isn’t known. Greatness, for sure, but what that specifically means is anyone’s guess.

And so at this year’s UFC Hall of Fame induction ceremony, we asked fighters (Nurmagomedov, Gilbert Burns, Vicente Luque, Giga Chikadze, and Cub Swanson) and broadcasters (Jon Anik, Megan Olivi, and Brendan Fitzgerald) who is one fighter they would like to see inducted into the Hall not already in there.
