UFC Long Island main event fighters, featherweight contenders Brian Ortega and Yair Rodriguez came face to face following Friday’s ceremonial weigh-in.
Ortega enters Saturday’s fight ranked No. 2 in the 145-pound division while Rodriguez is ranked No. 3. The winner will strengthen their case for getting the next title shot against champion Alexander Volkanovski.
