UFC on ABC 3 weigh-in video: Miesha Tate makes successful drop to flyweight division

UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Miesha Tate is officially part of the women’s flyweight division after UFC on ABC 3 weigh-ins.

Tate (19-8 MMA, 6-5 UFC), a former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, will test the waters in a new weight class Saturday when she meets Lauren Murphy (15-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) in a potential title eliminator for “Cupcake.”

Before she can step in the octagon, though, Tate had to step on the scale. She did that Friday morning, and came in at 125.8 pounds for the clash with Murphy, who registered at 125.2 pounds.
